Maddy and I just wanted to thank all the staff at Silver Lake Elementary and TCAPS bus garage, custodians and lunch staff!. Thank you to Miss Hannah Scharfenberg for stepping in midyear as a 1st grade teacher at Cherry Knoll. I don't know how she manages to balance such a demanding job with 2 young children at home, but she makes it look easy!! We could not be more grateful for her. She has an amazing ability to connect with the age group she works with and is tireless in her efforts to bring fun and creativity to teaching. Words cannot express the amount of positive encouragement and support Lillian Swan ( Westwoods Elementary ) has provided for our son and entire family this school year. Whenever I see her visiting her school(s), she is upbeat, positive, always has a smile and takes time to say hello. Hello! This is an appreciation message for Danelle Brostrom. Just wanted to say thank you to Jim Bunek and Jeff VanDalson for the great communication and extra time they have provided this semester with math students at West Senior High.- Faye Houtz Shout out to all of the teachers and staff at Sparta office at West Senior High School! They work very hard for their students. Shoutout to Sara Bageris at Central Grade School for her wonderful communication with parents and children! We can't thank our teachers enough for ALL that they do, beyond "just" teaching, it is so much more than that and they are truly the best! Ashley Hiatt She is so kind and really wants to make sure Kieran is getting the most he can out of everyday in school. He has some anxiety and some trouble sitting still at times but has worked with him to find the best solution to give him a place to do his best learning. LaBlanc (3rd grade Blair) is so patient and attentive to our son, Kieran. When Elijah found out he had her again this year he was jumping up and down and couldn't contain his excitement. Hickman (1st grade: Blair) is my son's teacher for the second year in a row and the way she has pulled him out of his shell and made him love going to school will always be something we are so thankful for. She is always communicating with us and really makes Makenna feel so welcome and loved. Lindsey (GSRP Blair) is SO amazing! Our daughter Makenna just adores her. I have 3 teachers to thank for this week! We have been so lucky with all of the teachers our kids have had through the years and this year is no different. Thanks to our TCAPS Tech team for making Star Wars day fun!!! Kerri-Ann Bonaddio. As a school community we have had the solid leadership of Jessie Houghton at Central High School to guide, protect and encourage us. Mr Odette at CHS is one of a kind- the way he has provided support, taught the kids what it means to lead and how to be a leader, and how he has offered invaluable insight helping those in senate to become their best selves. She is caring and generous and truly inspires her students.
